Progress on the raised beds

We've been slowly but surely converting our garden area into 4x4 raised beds. The goal is to save water, less maintenance, and easier weeding.

For Mother's Day the kids built and painted some flower boxes. Some of the yard garden is seen behind them.

Still shoveling dirt

16 boxes in. All we need now is bark for the rows.

With the flowerboxes on the edge. I can't wait until it's all growing!!
