Back from our honeymoon!

Here are a few pictures from our honeymoon cruise to Alaska. The weather was absolutely wonderful, we enjoyed the spa daily, had awesome activities planned for each day, and of course ate like a king and queen.
All of the pictures (there are a lot of them) are now loaded onto our sharesite located at http://hmmsharsite.shutterfly.com

Spring Baseball

William finally got to play spring baseball this year. We've had fun (when the weather cooperated). There were definately some days we would have rather been at home then piled under blankes and umbrellas watching the game. But then when the nice days come it's all worth it.
He's having a lot of fun! In their league they get a chance to play all different positions. Will has wonderful hand-eye-cordination, and hits the ball almost every time. It's funny though how serious he is when he plays. And sometimes when the ball is hit to him in the outfield, he's so worried about making a wrong throw that he freezes up and doesn't know where to thow it. But he's working on it. And the most imortant thing is that he has fun!

Trying his hand at being the catcher, so cute!

Progress on the raised beds

We've been slowly but surely converting our garden area into 4x4 raised beds. The goal is to save water, less maintenance, and easier weeding.

For Mother's Day the kids built and painted some flower boxes. Some of the yard garden is seen behind them.

Still shoveling dirt

16 boxes in. All we need now is bark for the rows.

With the flowerboxes on the edge. I can't wait until it's all growing!!

Seaside, OR

I have some catch-up blogging to do. Life's been a little busy :)

With only two weeks until the wedding, we've been busy wrapping up the last minute details. No matter how much you plan, there are always last minute things.

But we still managed to take some time for a "breather" and went to Seaside, OR for a few days. Although the weather was a bit crummy, windy and rainy (Oh ya, it's the beach, when isn't it windy and rainy?) we still had a great time relaxing and exploring. We went to the Seaside aquarium, played on the beach, and went to Fort Clatsop, were Lewis and Clark wintered over before their return trip home.
