Fibromyalgia and my Life- Creekside City Farm: Martin Luther King Jr

Welcome !

My plan is to have a place where family, friends, and others living with fibromyalgia can see how my days are spent while on the quest to understand and heal. My goal in life is to grow closer to our creator God, improve eating habits, better my self, simplify, eat more RAW foods, downsize material possistions, have a harmonious family life, along with physical and spiritual cleaning and renewing.

I'm married to a wonderful man and we have three amazing kids, 10 year old twins and a new little precious baby girl. Here are some of the things I do: Go to church, go to Bible study, homeschool, sew and craft, try to eat a lot of RAW foods, recycle, reuse, hang dry clothes, cloth diapers, co-sleep, baby wearing, cloth napkins, garage sales, share, visit with neighbors, simple uncluttered home (there's always room for improvement there), garden, compost, read to kids, do own home improvements, play with my kids, use cloth pads and diva cup, and raise chickens.

The journey of life sure is interesting!

get more worms to start up worm bin again (done)

Make chicken coop (done)
trim the apple tree (done)
Grow rhubarb (done)
Have family eat at least one day of all RAW a week
make an outdoor fire pit and seating area by the river
Make a cold frame (got the window for it)
Grow most of our own food
Only buy second hand clothes/items
spend time with friends
weed the garden
Have a compost toilet
finish Hailey's room upstairs
paint the craft room downstairs (done)
finish the blueberry hill (done)
finish the berry boxes (done)
use home made toothpaste (done)
use home made shampoo (done)
homeschool the kids again (done)
have goats again by next fall
have chickens for pets, fertilizer, eggs (done)
make a laundry line (done)
eat berries from our yard (done)
Make a solar shower
spend time relaxing
drive less, bike/walk more
Lower our food bill
Make raised beds (done)
